Self-adhesive materials can be divided into the following five categories according to different characteristics:
1. According to the characteristics of the adhesive, it can be divided into permanent self-adhesive materials and removable self-adhesive materials;
2. According to the classification of adhesive coating technology, it can be divided into hot melt type self-adhesive material, solvent type self-adhesive material and emulsion type self-adhesive material;
3. According to the classification of adhesive and chemical properties, it is divided into two kinds of self-adhesive materials: rubber-based and acrylic;
4. According to the characteristics of the backing paper, it is divided into three types of self-adhesive materials: opaque backing paper, translucent backing paper and transparent backing paper;
5. According to the characteristics of the surface material, it is divided into paper self-adhesive materials, film self-adhesive materials and special self-adhesive materials.
