Several Labeling Methods Commonly Used in Hot Melt Adhesive Labeling Machines

Nov 08, 2022

Hot melt adhesive labeling machine is a low-end equipment in the automatic labeling machine industry. It is widely used in small and medium-sized enterprises due to its small footprint and flexible use. The labeling speed of the hot melt adhesive labeling machine is much higher than that of the paste labeling machine. For 550ml bottles, the labeling output per hour is 8000-30000 bottles, and the machine can realize the labeling of any bottle surface with a diameter of 35-115mm. Labeling. And in terms of bottle specifications, it is not only suitable for round bottles but also for flat bottles and square bottles. There are many types of hot melt adhesive labeling machines on the market, but the same is true. These three labeling methods also have their own advantages and disadvantages.

First of all, the working principle of the suction method is that when the label paper of the hot melt adhesive labeling machine leaves the conveyor belt, it is distributed on the vacuum pad, and the end of the vacuum pad is connected to a mechanical device. When the mechanism extends until the label comes into contact with the package, it shrinks back and the label is attached to the package. The advantage of this method is that it has high precision and is suitable for the labeling process of difficult packaging products; the disadvantage is that the labeling speed is slow and the labeling quality is not good.

Secondly, the blow molding method is an improvement on the original basis of the blister method, the difference is that the surface of the vacuum pad remains unchanged, the label is fixed and positioned on a "vacuum grid", and the "vacuum grid" is a A flat surface with hundreds of small holes that are used to keep "air jets" formed. Compressed air blown through these "air jets", with very high pressure, moves the labels on the vacuum grid so that they adhere to the packaged goods. The advantage of this method is high accuracy and reliability; the disadvantage is that the process is complicated.

Finally, the friction method works during labeling, and when the leading edge portion of the label of the hot melt adhesive labeling machine is attached to the package, the label on the product is immediately removed. The advantage of this method is that the labeling speed is fast, but since the accuracy of this labeling method depends on the distribution speed of the labels when the package passes through the hot melt adhesive labeling machine, which leads to poor control, the accuracy will be affected.

Different labeling methods of hot melt adhesive labeling machines are suitable for different work objects. The reliability and accuracy of the blow molding labeling method are relatively high, but the labeling process is relatively complicated. Guaranteed, average accuracy. Therefore, it is necessary to choose the appropriate labeling method in the face of different working environments.
